"So...how are you going to ask her?" Seth asked, passing around an orange between his hands.

"You have to ask me this?" Ryan replied, opening the fridge to pull out a carton of orange juice. Seth smiled and put down the fruit.

"Well, fancy dinner with flowers? Sex marathon followed by the ring in your underpants? Bowling Alley with the ring in the holes?"

Ryan raised a brow. "I haven't put much thought into how I'm going to ask just yet. I was thinking about dropping the ring into her champagne glass."

Cohen scrunched up his face. "You think that's safe? Dropping rings into Taylor's drinks? I mean...it is Taylor. Not saying she's going to swallow it, but she may end up pouring her champagne into the sink some miraculous way."

Ryan meditated briefly on this. "I guess you're right, so should I ask her like how you asked Summer?"

"Don't you remember? I kind of did the whole put the ring into the food thing." Seth admitted, pouring a glass of juice for himself. "She kind of almost choked on it, it was cool. She pulled out the ring and swore at me, but she said yes right afterward so..." He shrugged in exaggeration.

"I think I may just do the get on my knee and put the rock in her face thing. Maybe the more safe and direct approach."  

"Good plan." Seth acknowledged, giving a nod of approval.

"Fancy dinner, flowers...serenade her with Journey."

"Woah, woah, woah...Journey? Why would you sing anything by that crap band to her?"

This prompted Ryan to glare at his friend.

Seth smiled nervously. "How about Death Cab, no wait, a little whiny for engagement music...oh, I know early Coldplay. Yellow. Sure it's about a drug addiction, but the lyrics don't say that."

"So, I'd essentially sing about Taylor like she's Crystal meth?"

The Jewish boy raised an inquisitively playful brow. "And there's a problem in that? I mean...she is...kind of happy."

"Good point."
